Our organizations are like ships at sea. Our CEOs and directors are the captains determining our ships' destinations. Our managers are at the helm, making the purchases and deploying our resources as needed to get our ships to our captains' chosen destinations. We financial healthcare professionals, accountants, are the navigators looking for favourable winds and identifying the storms and icebergs to avoid. We do not directly control the ship, but our influence is vital to our ships’ success.
