2026 CPABC Board of Directors Election

As some of you may know, Michael Morrison, CPA, CMA, Executive Director at Island Health, is a candidate in the 2026 CPABC Board of Directors election. CPABC has identified Michael as one of the candidates whose experience and qualifications closely align with the competencies currently being sought by the Board, as indicated by the asterisks beside his name on the ballot. Michael brings extensive leadership experience in the public sector, a strong background in financial management and governance, and a commitment to supporting the CPA profession. His perspective and experience would be a valuable addition to the CPABC Board.

Michael will be one of the speakers at BCFHPS’s upcoming 2026 virtual PD event. If you were to vote for Michael, it would both align with CPABC’s requirements and result in having a senior Health Care Financial Executive on the CPABC board.
