Airport Transfers

For out of town delegates, the Vancouver International Airport is located approximately 12.0 km from the hotel (25 minute drive). Please visit the hotel website for detailed driving or transit directions.

Business Centre

Hilton Vancouver Metrotown has a complimentary business centre that is available 24/7.

Dress

Dress is business casual for all sessions and events. Hotel management makes every effort to keep room temperatures comfortable. However, it is a good idea to dress in layers as room temperatures rise and fall automatically depending on the number of people in the room.

Fitness Centre

During your stay be sure to take advantage of the numerous amenities provided for your comfort. Keep up with your workout schedule in the fully equipped fitness centre and outdoor swimming pool.

Food Restrictions or Allergies

Every effort is made to accommodate a variety of dietary concerns in the conference menu.  However, participants with serious food allergies or dietary restrictions are asked to identify themselves, in advance, please by contacting show management.  As much as possible, arrangements will be made with the hotel to accommodate delegates with special requests.  

Guest Room Reservations

The conference has set aside a block of rooms with a preferred group rate of $259 per night (single or double occupancy). To make a reservation, book with this link or call 1-888-744-5866 and identify yourself as members of the BC Financial Healthcare Professionals Society Conference. All bookings must be made no later than Monday, August 14, 2023.

Cancellations made less than 24 hours prior to arrival date and no-shows will be charged one night and tax to their credit card.

Identification

All delegates will be issued with a name badge that will provide admission to all sessions and activities. Please wear this identification at all times during the conference.

Internet Services (Wireless)

Complimentary internet access is available on the conference level and in the guest rooms.

Meals

The following meals will be provided to delegates attending the in-person conference:

• Day 1 – Breakfast, AM Break, Lunch, and PM Break
• Day 2 – Breakfast, AM Break, and Lunch

Food and beverages will also be made available at social and networking events. One complimentary alcoholic drink will be provided and a cash bar at the Wednesday and Thursday evening events.

Virtual attendees will receive one $30 DoorDash coupon for meals.

Parking at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown

Valet and self-parking are available on-property at Hilton Vancouver Metrotown for hotel guests and delegates.

Hilton Vancouver Metrotown is located between Kingsway and McKay Avenue. The main hotel entrance is on McKay Avenue. 

Parking rates are applicable to all vehicle types (including motorcycles, electric, and handicap).  

ATTENDEE DAY PARKING (PUBLIC PARKING)

• Complimentary parking for the first 3 hours is available in the underground parkade in Red, Brown and Green zones on P1, P2, P3 and P4, $3.00 each half hour or portion to a maximum of $13.00 per day inclusive of tax.

OVERNIGHT REGISTERED GUESTS PARKING

• There is a Blue Zone located on each level and parking in this zone is reserved for hotel guest parking. 
• Guests must register their vehicle’s license plate at the front desk. 
• There are 4 levels of parking (P1 – P4).  Please note reserved parking stalls on P1 to avoid tickets or towing charges.
• Access to the Hotel Lobby are via stairs or elevator located in the center of the “Blue” zone. 
• Overnight self-parking is available at $21.00 inclusive of tax per day.  Daytime valet parking is available at $19.00 and overnight valet parking is available at $29.00, both inclusive of tax per day.  Subject to change.

OVER-HEIGHT VEHICLES

• The clearance of the parkade is 6’6”.  The hotel does not have on-site over-height parking, however, we can provide you information for offsite options such as British Columbia Institute of Technology (5 minutes’ drive from the hotel).  Additional charges will apply.

Public Transportation

Hilton Vancouver Metrotown offers easy access to the Skytrain rapid transit system. The closest station to the hotel is the Metrotown station which is located on Central Blvd.

Restaurant / Lounge

Hilton Vancouver Metrotown has an onsite restaurant and lounge. Reflect Social Dining and Lounge is open daily from 6:00 am-12:00 am daily.
